Here's the finished result of Mark Knopfler with his National Guitar "Style O".
I tried a new technique on this drawing and used black charcoal on those areas that's suppose to be jet black.
Sure, my last drawings looked jet black on those areas when I used graphite, but that's something you can fix using photoshop :-P. In real life, they shine when sunlight hit the drawings.
The charcoal makes the drawing more alive, since it stays matt in the darkest areas and doesn't give shine like graphite. But I added thin layer of graphite for some texture, details & shadows.
I also added some color to his shirt with colored pencils.
Tools: 2H-2B graphite pencil, charcoal pencil(black,medium,light & white), colored pencils, ruler, eraser & kneaded eraser
