I wanted to create an AMAZING drawing of an AMAZING MUSICIAN, so here's the finished result of my Mark Knopfler drawing <3
This is a picture of Mark where he's just chilling with a smoke in some kind of basement with a long corridor. He's also holding a beautiful Fender Stratocaster in this picture which I think suits the image, because is only wearing dark clothes while the guitar is very light which makes it stand out.
I like these kinds of pictures where it looks like they are taken just in the moment instead of someone who is looking into the camera and posing. Snapshots are pictures I enjoy a lot more to draw because they seem so lifelike and ordinary but in their own special way.
Sure, sometimes I draw pictures of someone looking into the camera, but it might be because I might love the details in the picture, but most of al I love snapshots.
This might be the reason of why I draw a lot of drawings of Mark/Dire Straits because they are mostly snapshots that looks so awesome to draw. <3
