Description
Here I'm working on a christmas present for my sister Sophie. Like me, she loves horses and we both love the movie "War Horse" so I wanted to draw this picture for her. This is the sketch of Albert and his horse Joey which are the main characters from the movie.
Horses is actually one of first things that I drew when I started with realism, but after that I've been working on a lot of portraits so it feels good to go back to horses and since I've gotten more developed in realistic drawing, hopefully I draw even better horses now.

Tools: Ruler, 2H graphite, eraser and kneaded eraser
Paper: 250g/m2 Canson Bristol
